remind/about messages
The program details, choices, and help available before you opt in.
Effective August 15, 2026
Program
After opt-in and once campaign messaging is active, remind/about by Kiddos sends scheduled reminders, reply confirmations, snooze updates, and disclosed caregiver notifications. Phone verification codes are sent separately through Twilio Verify. The service is operated by Kiddos.
What the person receives
Each check-in uses the person’s first name and reminder name. General reminders, exercise, personal care, and tasks ask whether the activity is completed; medication reminders ask whether the medication was taken. Dosage and private notes stay out of SMS.

What caregivers receive
Eligible followers selected for each reminder receive updates at the scheduled time, after the person confirms completion, or after three hours without confirmation. Each follower needs the person’s approval and their own SMS consent. Braced values show where plan-specific information appears.

How to opt in
A setup owner verifies their mobile number and accepts the Terms. Before their own reminders can begin, they must have separately opted in through the SMS consent box, which starts unchecked. If they are supporting someone else, that person reviews the plan, verifies their own number, accepts the Terms separately, and selects the same unchecked SMS consent before reminders begin. Invited caregivers choose separately whether to receive updates. Messaging can later be re-enabled in authenticated Settings only after reviewing the same disclosure. No keyword or text-message opt-in is offered.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on the reminder schedule you choose. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Stop or get help
Reply STOP to any campaign message to opt out. The program sends one confirmation and no further messages unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help or email support@thekiddos.co.
Privacy and terms
